With over 25 years of experience in the mortgage and housing industry, Wanda currently serves as a Senior Capacity Building Specialist with Housing Action Illinois. In this role, she acts as a liaison between the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and HUD-approved housing counseling agencies across seven states. Her work focuses on supporting agency performance and expanding awareness of housing counseling through partnerships with colleges, universities, and workforce development programs.

Before joining Housing Action, Wanda managed the Homeownership Services team at Neighborhood Housing Services of Chicago, where she oversaw programs including Pre-Purchase Counseling, Foreclosure Prevention, Financial Capability, and Reverse Mortgage Counseling. She also previously served as a Foreclosure Prevention Counselor at the Fannie Mae Mortgage Help Center.
