Instructor: Jessica Marchiniak

Jessica Marchiniak
Biography:
I am a graduate of Southern Illinois University & Concordia University Chicago, with a bachelor's in education, a master's degree in educational administration and over 15 years of teaching experience in a variety of grade levels, subjects & settings.

As a teacher, I strive to make education an experience with unexpected extras that pique interest and build meaningful connections to content. My goal each day is presenting lessons and instruction that is interactive and exciting so students love being a part of class and thoroughly enjoy learning. It makes me so happy to see students smiling, having fun, and engaged as they develop new skills and grow in knowledge, abilities and confidence.

I am thrilled to be an instructor at Joliet Junior College, especially in the Lifelong Learning Department. I have the pleasure of teaching Vocational Skills classes to young adults plus developing and leading Kids College camps and workshops as well. I am proud to work in such a welcoming, inclusive, and supportive environment and aspire to make sure our students feel the same.
