Kimberly has enjoyed teaching music in several school districts throughout Joliet, Lockport, Minooka, Morris, Downers Grove, Wheaton, and beyond, to children from Elementary, Middle, and High School. She has served as choir director, band director, general music and special needs music curriculum creator and teacher, handbell director, piano accompanist, and many other roles throughout her career as a music educator. Currently, she is home full-time as a mom to three young kids and wife to Marvin, whom she met at JJC in choir many years ago! 

Kimberly has found that music provides an outlet and ignition that cultivates learning and joy in the minds of students, enabling them to reach unimaginable heights through teamwork, intensity and dedication. She is excited to give that opportunity through this new endeavor at JJC for the youth of Joliet and surrounding communities as we create a choir in a week, benefiting from the many skills each participant will bring! She is looking forward to making music with you!
