Instructor: Lindsey Brown

Lindsey Brown
Biography: I graduated from Columbia College Chicago with a Bachelor of Arts and later earned my Master of Education from Saint Xavier University. I have been teaching in Plainfield School District 202 for 16 years and have taught every art class offered at the high school level.

My expertise is in drawing and painting, but I also have a strong passion for digital arts and photography and enjoy exploring new creative tools with my students. I care deeply about giving back to my community through art and public projects. My students and I regularly create artwork for the fence along Route 126 in Plainfield, and I have also painted murals for my school and for the Plainfield Police Department. In addition, I am a member of the Plainfield Public Arts Council, where I help support and promote the arts locally.

I live in New Lenox with my beautiful daughters, Lana and Faye, along with our husky Bo and our cat Johnny.
