Biography: Hey everyone! My name is Rebecca Speech and I am a local middle school Art teacher who has been working with students in the classroom since 2009. Previously, I studied at Eastern Illinois University where I earned my B.A. in both Studio Art (2-D emphasis) and Art Education (K-12), as well as my M.A. in Painting by the time I was 24. I believe that anyone can be an artist! I am passionate about teaching Art to all types of learners, so I hope you'll join me in the classroom for a relaxing and fun art making experience. Here's some random facts about me: - I studied Art History in France for a summer. - I am a car enthusiast. - Dogs are my absolute favorite! - I can play the piano and trumpet. - My favorite art mediums to use are colored pencils and paints. - I have a YouTube channel devoted to creating Art content for my classroom and other art teachers.
