Biography: Melanie Holmes is an award-winning author of five nonfiction books (2014-2023) and an accomplished public speaker. Her passions are history (especially women's history/rights), the natural world, pickleball, and forming connections. She earned her bachelor's from St. Xavier University-Chicago and has worked for the US EPA, Arthur Andersen (pre-Enron), and Brookfield Zoo. You can usually find her supporting a library or indie bookstore or planning the "next big adventure." |
