Biography: I am a licensed veterinary technician who has been in the field since 2015. I started off as a veterinary assistant and eventually pursued my certification though Joliet Junior College. I sat for my VTNE and became officially certified in 2021. Since then, I have been working at a small animal clinic as a CVT. I look forward to coaching students in mastering their skills and helping them become more confident in their abilities in addition to teaching the fundamentals of veterinary medicine. My areas of interest are surgical assisting, anesthesia, feline medicine and fear free handling. In my free time I enjoy reading, hiking, Broadway musicals, and hanging out with my husband, daughters and 2 cats.
