Course Detail: LLC.6720 - LLC 6720 Teen Painting Studio

This creative, skill-building art camp is designed for teens who want to explore painting in a relaxed, summer-inspired studio environment. Students will experiment with color, texture, composition and expressive techniques while creating paintings inspired by summer landscapes, light, color and personal memories. Ages 13-17.

Biography:

I have been an art educator for over two decades and have been a professional artist for 30 years. I pursued art education and art history from Northern Illinois University. Today, I have a passion for creativity and education. I am a drawer, painter, printmaker, and ceramicist. I thoroughly love what I do in my classroom with my students everyday while my students learn about art history, art techniques, artist of modern day, and so much more. Each day is new and different with my many student artists working hard to build a strong portfolio.
