Get ready for an out-of-this-world experience as we explore rocket science at the Trackman Planetarium! Students will investigate the challenges of space travel and witness real space launches, behind-the-scenes NASA footage and discover the future of humanity's journey back to the moon. After learning about rocket ships in the dome, students will spend one hour building their very own bottle rockets. This opportunity allows them to express individual creativity and challenges them to build a stable, aerodynamic vessel. Kits will be sent home with detailed instructions on how to launch. If time and weather allows, we will launch one rocket outdoors. Ages 5-17.
