Are you considering a career in welding? Do you have a welder in the corner of your garage and want to be able to effectively use it? This course is an opportunity to dip your feet into the vast world of the welding industry. This course will cover the basics of the two most common welding processes: SMAW (stick welding) and GMAW (MIG welding). Topics include basic arc welding theory, welding safety, machine setup and technique. This course will be 40 percent classroom discussion and 60 percent hands-on learning. For ages 15 and up.
