This course will cover what you need to know to safely work on electric vehicles. Topics that are covered will include personal protective equipment, insulated tools, isolation meters, milli-ohm meters and much more. The course is a combination of classroom instruction and hands-on lab exercises. The students will use a scan tool to obtain basic high-voltage information and will successfully depower an electric vehicle. Note: Closed-toe shoes must be worn in the lab area. For ages 15 and up.
