Construction surveying and layout are essential components of virtually every construction project. Having the ability to layout a building corner, stakeout the location & grade of a manhole or roadside ditch, or measure and calculate the area and volume of a construction stockpile areall valuable skills. This 4-hour, hands-on course introduces attendees to some basic principles of construction surveying. Participants will learn basic surveying techniques, practice taking and recording vertical measurements using an automatic level and learn how to calculate some common construction surveying computations.
