Course Detail: CONT - Engineering: Crazy Action Contraptions | grades 1-5
Unleash your imagination as you journey through the wide-ranging world of LEGOŽ building. Work with a friend to build models and discuss the engineering science behind each. Then improve and customize your creations. Possible models include the never-look-back machine, skittletops, a do-nothing machine, a coat hanger daredevil, a trapdoor cable car parachute machine, a rubber band racer, a balloon-powered car, and other crazy action contraptions. Discover how engineering can be fun, silly, AND educational.
Please bring a peanut-free snack and a beverage each day.

*** Registering for a morning and an afternoon class at the same location? Join the "Lunch Bunch!" Community Education will provide a supervised hour between classes for you to enjoy the lunch you brought from home, then will get you to your afternoon class. Lunches should be nut-free and should include a beverage. No resources are available for refrigeration or to heat lunches, so plan accordingly. Parents/Guardians: please choose the Lunch Bunch fee option when registering for the morning class. There is no charge, but we need to know who is staying with us for the hour. ***
