DwightFloyd teaches Globalization and Business at Governors State University. He isalso the former faculty advisor for the student's International Business Club.

His corporate career included roles asan international business analyst and leadership positions, including managingthe letters of credit department of a former major regional bank. Following employmentwith The General Motors Overseas Distribution Corporation, he earned a MastersDegree in International Public Policy from Johns Hopkins University School ofAdvanced International Studies. He has a Bachelors' Degree from the Universityof Michigan, and an MBA from Clark Atlanta University. He is also a Certified Global BusinessProfessional (CGBP) and a Certified CGBP Trainer.

Hisacademic and international business interests provided him the opportunity totravel and partner with business people and academics throughout Africa andChina.
