Course Detail: Introduction to Lean Methodology with Simulation Exercise
About This Course
Essentially all industries, including manufacturing, healthcare, government, and transactional businesses, use Lean methods to eliminate waste and improve the flow of information and materials to their customers. This course will introduce participants to basic Lean principles and tools, such as value stream mapping, 5S, error proofing, Kanbans, Kaizen, etc. Additionally, participants will take part in a simulation exercise designed to demonstrate how using Lean tools improve workflow and positively impact an organization's financial well-being. Includes continental breakfast and lunch.

Dan Grimsley
Dan Grimsley, M.A., MBB, CPM, CMfgE is a master black belt in Lean Six Sigma. He has been in quality and process improvement for over 25 years and has trained participants all over the world in a variety of industries, including transactional, manufacturing, pharmaceutical, medical, government and aerospace.
