Course Detail: GCKD-1004 - Cosmetology - Hair Braiding
Our instructor will demonstrate hair braiding where students will practice and try out what they have learned. Students will focus on the steps to master a handful of popular cornrows, single braids and design braids.Lessons are easy to learn with up-to-date techniques for all current and past styles. Hands-on person attention.Students will be able to train on models or mannequins with an instructor with a proven track record.Take home materials and products to use at home. Three hour classes receive a certificate of completion for each class completed.
Beginner Hair Braiding - Ages 10-13 Two sessions: June 5-8 or June 12-15 mornings.
Advanced Hair Braiding -Ages 14-16 Two sessions: June 5-8 or June 12-15 afternoons.

Monday-Sanitation (Barbicide Certification) 3 levels of sanitation, Intro to Braids, Plaits
Tuesday-Underhand braid technique (Cornrows)
Wednesday-Overhand braid technique (French Braid)
Thursday-Fishtail braid technique
Advanced Skills include: Halo braids, Single braids with extensions, Feed in braids and hair additions.
