Steven Young
Steve Young brings more than three decades of experience in education, with subject expertise in technology and English. He earned an MA in Educational Technology from Fresno Pacific University and a BA in Mass Communication from California State University, Fresno. Originally from Durango, Colorado, Steve now lives in Fresno, California, and is an active member of Gateway Church in Visalia. His longstanding relationship with Fresno Pacific University began in 1988, when he taught video production and computer applications through teacher seminars. By the mid-1990s, he began developing and teaching distance-learning courses for educators nationwide, a role he continues to value for its professional connections and personal relationships. Recently retired from Madera Unified after more than 30 years, Steve spent much of his career as a Technology Coordinator before returning to the classroom. He and his wife, Becky, cherish the friendships developed with students and educators throughout his career.
