Bonnie Walker
Dr. Bonnie Walker brings more than 20 years of experience as a K-5 mainstream classroom teacher, along with extensive work as an at-risk K-12 instructor, K-12 Student Services Coordinator, and higher education instructor. Her areas of expertise include Appreciative Inquiry, Appreciative Advising, Understanding by Design, Universal Design, and Differentiated Instruction. She holds an EdD in Educational Leadership and Management, an MSEd with a specialization in Literacy, and a BA in Religious Education. Originally from Port Colborne, Ontario, Canada, Dr. Walker has lived and worked in Canada, Michigan, and Central Pennsylvania. She has a passion for lifelong learning and sharing knowledge with others. In addition to her educational career, she has worked as a graphic artist and typographer and continues that work with a major educational publishing company. Her commitment to service extends to mentoring, ministry, children's programs, and supporting missionaries, reflecting her belief in active, collaborative community engagement.
