Amanda Troxel
Amanda Troxel is an educator and artist whose expertise centers on art in learning and development. She holds an MA in Art Therapy from Cork Institute of Technology and a BA in Sociology from California Baptist University. With a background spanning Germany, New Jersey, and Ireland, Amanda brings a broad cultural perspective to her work with students. She believes that teaching a wide variety of learners requires a wide variety of approaches and is passionate about creating opportunities for students to engage with art as a meaningful part of their education. She sees art as a powerful tool for processing experiences, encouraging self-expression, and promoting personal growth. Amanda is part of the community at Stone Hill Church in Princeton, New Jersey. Her recommended reading is The Earth Has a Soul: The Nature Writings of C.G. Jung. Outside of education, she enjoys making coffee, camping, drawing, and listening to Julia Jacklin and La Femme.
