No image available Jordan Samsonas is a dedicated middle school social studies teacher with 14 years of experience specializing in US History, technology, and instructional design. A graduate of John Carroll University, he holds an MA in History, a Post-Baccalaureate in Education, and a BA in History. Originally from Chagrin Falls, Ohio, Jordan is passionate about teaching students and supporting fellow educators in becoming more effective in their classrooms. For the past two years, he has served as a Technology Integrator for classroom instruction while continuing to teach full time. His online courses reflect his commitment to sharing practical strategies and resources with educators beyond his own school community. Jordan also brings his passion for athletics to his work as a cross country and track coach. Outside the classroom, he enjoys running and hiking. He is a member of Parkside Church in Bainbridge Township, Ohio, where he values faith, community, and service.

The Teaching With Canvas course is designed to help teachers transform their classrooms by mastering Canvas and learning to navigate the platform's Learning Management System (LMS). Canvas can open the door for teachers to engage students better and achieve better student outcomes. Educators leave this course ready to use Canvas in their classrooms, including creating content and managing student submissions and grades.

Digital Citizenship is the new frontier in education. Growing numbers of educators and parents alike are realizing that students today exist in two worlds -- the digital world and the real world. For years, educators have provided instruction when it comes to navigating the real world. Something we do not address, however, is how to successfully navigate the digital world. We can no longer afford to be absent in our students' digital lives.
