Ronald Koop
Ron Koop is an experienced educator and professional development leader specializing in mathematics, science, and technology. With master's degrees in Computer Science and Mathematics and a BA in Chemistry with a minor in Mathematics, he brings an interdisciplinary perspective to teaching and learning. Originally from Hillsboro, Kansas, Ron now lives in Visalia, California, where he is part of the Visalia Neighborhood Mennonite Brethren Church community. For more than 30 years, he has educated learners from fourth grade through the graduate university level, developing a deep understanding of how students learn and connect academic content to everyday life. His experience includes serving as a teacher, statewide mathematics and science trainer and coach, conference coordinator, graduate program director, and Research Fellow for the AIMS Education Foundation. Through engaging, hands-on, practical professional development courses, Ron equips educators with resources they can immediately apply in their classrooms, inspiring confidence and helping students discover that they can succeed in mathematics, science, and technology.
