Samuel Jessup
Sam Jessup brings more than 20 years of leadership and teaching experience across graphic design, mass communication, business, fine arts, cartography, and geoscience. He holds an MBA in Business/Marketing from Fresno State and a BS in Liberal Arts/Mass Communication from Texas A&M. Originally from El Paso, Texas, Sam now lives in Fresno, California. As an instructor, Sam believes education should cultivate lifelong learning, critical thinking, curiosity, and self-directed learners. For more than 18 years, he has applied an engaging, hands-on approach that connects learning to practical, real-world applications. His professional experience includes teaching software applications, publishing, graphic design, integrated marketing communications, digital marketing, branding, and team building. He has also communicated complex concepts across scientific, business, justice, and Christian faith contexts to diverse audiences. Sam's international travel to more than six countries has further broadened his perspective and appreciation for people and cultures. He is a member of First Presbyterian Church in Fresno.
