Dennis Janzen
Dr. Dennis Janzen brings more than 40 years of experience in competitive athletics coaching and administration, with a career devoted to helping athletes and leaders discover what they are capable of achieving. He holds a PhD in Sport Psychology from the University of Southern California and specializes in coaching, drawing on extensive experience working with athletes ranging from Olympians to young children. Originally from Reedley, California, Dr. Janzen now lives in Lynden, Washington. His coaching philosophy is grounded in the belief that effective training shapes performance, character, and perseverance. He is particularly interested in understanding what motivates people to pursue challenging goals, persist through failure, and overcome the fear of falling short. For Dr. Janzen, the greatest reward of coaching is seeing someone accomplish something they once believed was impossible. Through teaching and mentoring, he strives to create meaningful learning experiences for those pursuing excellence in athletic coaching and administration.
