Dr. Frisby recognizes that every learner is unique, with individual interests, learning styles, skills, and abilities. Her approach emphasizes creating meaningful learning experiences that challenge students to think critically while providing the support they need to reach their full potential. Through her courses, she encourages educators to expand their instructional strategies and develop tools that foster engagement, confidence, and lifelong learning. Understanding Geometry, 'Big Ideas'
Understanding Geometry, 'Big Ideas' is a course designed for Preschool, TK, K-3rd grade educators that provides a variety of classroom-tested activities to promote in-depth understanding of 2-D and 3-D geometry concepts and spatial awareness. Participants will learn many practical strategies and approaches to develop spatial reasoning, recognition of shapes, and real-world connections in a fun and engaging manner.

Bridging the Early Childhood Special Education Credential
This course is designed as a 'bridge' option for current Early Childhood Special Educators to demonstrate competence on Teacher Performance Expectations embedded in the new Education Specialist Credentials that were launched Summer/Fall 2022. The Office of Administrative Law (OAL) approved the package and several updates to the Education Specialist Credential went into effect on July 1, 2022.

Autism Spectrum Disorder
This course provides an opportunity to learn about autism spectrum disorders. Students study in-depth psychological, sociological, and vocational aspects of programs designed to serve this population of children. The course also addresses the basic concepts in autism research and education that are foundational in understanding the patterns of behavior, social abilities, and language difficulties that unfold in students with autism spectrum disorders.

The course will prepare students to address and support individuals in their assigned classroom(s) and environmental settings. Students will learn foundational knowledge, strategies, and appropriate supports to facilitate instruction, to achieve student success.

Zoom Essentials for the Classroom
Zoom has come into its own in recent years. For educators. Zoom is an interactive, mobile, and collaborative tool for engaging students in the classroom and remotely. The many applications and features of Zoom expand the capabilities of the modern classroom. Teachers provide one-on-one student support and schedule video conferences. Zoom can be programmed to record class lessons and upload them to the cloud. Beyond technical features, understand how to prepare content for the platform.
