Matthew Dummeldinger is an educator specializing in mathematics education, learning platforms, and standards-based grading. He earned an MEd in Applied Studies in Teaching and Learning and a BS in Mathematics with a minor in Communication Studies from West Chester University. A native of Hatboro, Pennsylvania, Matthew is also a member of the Church of the Holy Trinity in West Chester. His teaching experience spans mathematics courses from pre-algebra through AP Calculus, giving him a broad perspective on student learning and instructional needs. Matthew believes students are more than names on a roster and that education should prepare them for success beyond a specific content area. He emphasizes critical thinking, questioning strategies, effective communication, and skills that transfer across careers and communities. As a classroom teacher and professional development leader, he continually seeks innovative ways to support diverse learners and shares effective practices with fellow educators. Outside education, Matthew enjoys nature, music, and serving his community.
