Clayton Diltz
Dr. Clayton Diltz is a Bible scholar, pastor, chaplain, and teacher with a passion for communicating God's timeless truth through careful and practical study of Scripture. He earned a DTh in Theology from Trinity School of Theology, a ThM in Biblical Studies and an MDiv in Pastoral Care and Counseling from Talbot School of Theology, and a BS in Human Resources from California State University, Long Beach. His professional experience includes serving as Lead Chaplain at the Veterans Home of California in Fresno, Wing Chaplain with the 144th FW, FANG, and as a hospital and hospice chaplain, preacher, teacher, pastor, and elder. Originally from Visalia, California, he attends Evangelical Free Church in Visalia. Dr. Diltz emphasizes that doctrine is practical because beliefs shape behavior, and he seeks to help others encounter God through His living Word. His life experiences also include entrepreneurship, rental property ownership, and extensive world travel.

Paul's purpose in writing to the Romans was to proclaim the glory of the Lord Jesus Christ through practical, doctrinal teaching in order to edify and encourage believers.
