MaryJo Burchard
Dr. MaryJo Burchard is an experienced educator, leadership scholar, coach, and organizational consultant whose work centers on helping people and organizations navigate disruption with greater compassion, trust, and resilience. She holds a PhD in Organizational Leadership from Regent University, along with master's and bachelor's degrees from Fresno Pacific University. With more than 25 years of teaching experience spanning Japan, K-8 education, children's ministry, higher education, and leadership development, she brings a diverse global perspective to her work. Her expertise includes leadership development, self-compassion and self-care, change readiness, effective teamwork, organizational communication, conflict resolution, and building trust. She has provided training, coaching, and consulting for government, corporate, educational, healthcare, and nonprofit organizations, including trauma-informed leadership initiatives. Today, she teaches part-time in higher education and coaches leaders navigating radical disruption. Shaped by extensive cross-cultural experiences, Dr. Burchard is passionate about creating humane environments where people can belong, heal, grow, and thrive.
