Dana Budd
Dana Budd brings extensive expertise in physical education, psychology, educational leadership, curriculum and instruction, educational technology, and the visual and performing arts. She earned a B.A. in Psychology from California State University, Fresno, an M.A. in Instruction/Technology from National University, and credentials in Physical Education and Educational Leadership. Dana began her career teaching middle school in Central Unified School District before serving as a K-12 instructional coach and District Educational Technology Coordinator. She currently serves as Director of Curriculum and Instruction for Paso Robles Joint Unified School District, where she leads collaborative teams focused on student learning, curriculum, assessment, professional development, and data-informed decision-making. She also oversees VAPA, GATE, instructional coaching, and MTSS initiatives. A lifelong dancer, Dana performed five seasons with State Street Ballet and five years with Altered Modalities. She has studied with leading ballet institutions nationwide and is an award-winning choreographer. She is a member of Atascadero Bible Church.

Teaching Disc Golf
The Teaching Disc Golf course is designed to give educators the skills needed to effectively teach disc golf to a class or in a small group setting. Educators learn how to teach others to play disc golf, including the disc golf rules and the proper disc golf equipment needed to play the game.

Teaching Pickleball
Pickleball is an increasingly popular game for all ages from 8 to 80. Because it can be vigorous, is inexpensive, and easy to learn it is appearing in physical education curriculum as a life-long sport. Pickleball incorporates fitness, psychological skills, techniques, and tactics. The course will provide information and structure required to build quality pickleball units that encourage participation in regular physical activity for lifelong fitness.

Teaching Across the Curriculum in PE
This course is designed to support teachers in the vast ways in which to integrate content standards into physical activities. The Physical Education classroom provides many opportunities to reinforce core content and cross curricular activities and concepts. The key is to find creative ways to reinforce the core material while keeping true to the goals and standards related to developing lifelong movers.

Inclusive PE & Unified Sports
This course equips K-12 educators with the knowledge and practical skills needed to create inclusive physical education environments and Unified Sports opportunities for students with disabilities. Participants will explore strategies for adapting instruction, modifying equipment, integrating Universal Design for Learning (UDL), and supporting a wide range of physical, cognitive, and social-emotional needs.
