Andrew Herrick
Dr. Andrew Herrick is the Director of Academic Development and a faculty member at Fresno Pacific University, where he oversees academic programming and marketing for the Office of Continuing Education. With expertise in wellness programs, physical education, physical conditioning, and science and history education, he teaches graduate, undergraduate, and professional development courses. His practical experience and student-centered approach help create engaging learning experiences that support student success. Through both his leadership and teaching, Dr. Herrick is committed to empowering learners and advancing Fresno Pacific University's mission of developing knowledgeable, ethical, and service-minded professionals. Dr. Herrick earned a PhD in Curriculum and Instruction and an MS in Exercise Science from Arizona State University, as well as BAs in Natural Science and Athletic Training from Fresno Pacific University. Prior to joining FPU, he held leadership positions at McKesson, Healthwise, and Chase where he combined innovation in health and wellness technology with his passion for education. A published author, award-winning educator, and conference presenter, Dr. Herrick has also served in leadership roles with SHAPE America and the Southwest District of AAHPERD. Guided by his Christian faith, he is dedicated to lifelong learning, empowering others through education, and promoting healthy, balanced living.
