IND-1411: Peak Performance for Teachers

This workshop is designed and led by a seasoned classroom educator with firsthand experience to the challenges and opportunities teachers face daily. This 1-6-credit hour course is designed to help educators (administrators, counselors and especially teachers) elevate their personal and professional performance by focusing on key areas that influence well-being, productivity, and decision-making in the classroom. Teachers face unique challenges that require both mental resilience and practical strategies to thrive. This workshop provides a holistic approach to improving performance through self-care, time management, cognitive load management, and effective communication.
Through video lectures, readings, hands-on assignments, and reflective journaling, participants will explore topics such as managing information overload, understanding psychological tendencies, improving relationships, and making better decisions under pressure. The workshop culminates in a personalized podcast or videocast project where participants reflect on their journey and apply the concepts they've learned to their teaching practice.
