SOC-903: Los Angeles: Reflections on Its Heritage

This course explores various periods in the history of Los Angeles. Experts will discuss Mission San Gabriel, Southwest Indians, the Southwest Museum, George C. Page Museum and the La Brea Tar Pits, and El Pueblo De Los Angeles. Biographical information on significant people in the history of Los Angeles will be used to teach the idea of exploring history through biographies.
