Biography:

Janis Allen founded Performance Leadership Consulting following an 18-year business career. Her practice focuses on people, performance and culture change with measurable improvement in productivity, quality, cost and client satisfaction. She has previously worked as a plant human resource manager, corporate management trainer, performance trainer and consultant, as well as vice president of operations.

Owner of Performance Leadership Consulting since 1990, Allen helps individuals and organizations implement performance leadership skills and teams using measurement, feedback systems and reinforcement that engage every employee. She has published six books for supervisors, employee communication and performance: Performance Teams: Completing the Feedback Loop; I Saw What You Did and I Know Who You Are: Bloopers, Blunders, and Success Stories in Giving & Receiving Positive Reinforcement; You Made My Day: Creating Co-worker Recognition and Relationships (with Michael McCarthy); Team Up!
