Biography:

Candace Barrett earned her M.S. in Applied Behavior Analysis from Florida Institute of Technology in 2015 and became a Board Certified Behavior Analyst that same year. Candace began her career working with children with developmental disabilities at Quest Kids Orlando. For the past three years, she has been working as the clinical coordinator for Quest South Adult Day Training Center in Orlando, Florida. As a senior behavior analyst, Candace developed behavior services plans, performed assessments and supervised and trained staff (e.g., direct service providers, registered behavior technicians, behavior assistants and BCBA candidates). Furthermore, she managed annual treatment plans, created acquisition skill packages, wrote fundamental vocational skill curriculum and assisted in the management of company-wide outcomes. Candace is interested in conducting applied and translational research focused on adults with developmental disabilities, disseminating ABA to stakeholders and individuals outside the field and mentoring aspiring behavior analysts.
