Biography:
M.Ed., BCBA

Lauren Cox graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of California, Davis. In 2012, she earned a Master of Education in Special Education with an emphasis in severe disabilities/autism from the University of Hawaii, Manoa, and became a BCaBA that same year. In 2014, she became a BCBA, with the coursework requirement fulfilled through Florida Institute of Technology. Her background is in providing high-quality, effective services in center-based facilities and conducting parent training for families to have a greater understanding of the science of behavior analysis. She has partnered with parent support groups and has served as the events and marketing chair for the Hawaii Association for Behavior Analysis, successfully co-chairing webinars, speaker events and the annual conference. Additionally, Lauren has worked on due process hearings that require extensive explanation of learner's skills, as well as concepts and principles for people of other disciplines. Her tenacity and enthusiasm as a clinician has prepared her for teaching others toward their certification.
