Dr. Amiris DiPuglia obtained her degree as a medical doctor in 1991 from the Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra; she completed her master's degree in the Dominican Republic. When her son was diagnosed with autism, she decided to pursue her certification as a behavior analyst. DiPuglia has dedicated more than a decade to serving children with autism and other developmental delays by providing training and consultation to staff members in educational programs as well as home-bound service providers. She also provides training to family members to promote and facilitate collaboration and enhance outcomes. She is currently an educational consultant for the Pennsylvania Training and Technical Assistant Network (PaTTAN) and also works with the autism initiative to provide consultation and training for staff serving students with autism and related disorders.
