Biography:

M.S., BCBA

Gina Nicolini received her master's degree in special education with a certificate in intense intervention from Indiana University in 2005. She became a Board Certified Behavior Analyst in 2013 and completed her ABA coursework through FIT's online program.

Dr. Carl Sundberg and his team served as her practicum supervisors at the Behavior Analysis Center for Autism in Fishers, Indiana. Since 2000, Gina has worked in disability services in a variety of settings, including residential programs, private homes, clinics, schools, assisted living and nursing homes. Her clinical expertise lies with assessing, developing and teaching meaningful goals across the verbal operants through the use of the VB-MAPP, Essential for Living and the AFLS. More recently, she has added PEAK ABA to her clinical practice.

Gina is a professional crisis management instructor and also works with BehaviorFit to develop models for addressing health-related problems for consumers and practicing BCBAs. She strives to implement behavioral principles in her own life, from weightlifting to relationships to training her dog, Pete. Her mantra is "The learner is always right."
