The 21st Century BCBA Supervision Course Series

Make a difference in the field of behavior analysis by acquiring the skills and tools to be a great supervisor for upcoming BCBAs, BCaBAs, and practicing BCaBAs and RBTs. Florida Institute of Technology proudly presents: The 21st Century BCBA Supervision Course Series, designed to meet the eight-hour supervisor training requirement for BACB supervisors.

This course series is firmly rooted in the science of organizational behavior management (OBM), using empirically validated strategies to develop effective, efficient supervisors in our field. Revised in early 2017, new supervisors will learn current best practices in training, evaluation, professional development, and much more!

*These courses are also available for ongoing supervision CEUs for current supervisors who took BEHP1122 (our former supervision series) or eight hour supervision courses through another provider.

BEHAVIORAL SKILLS TRAINING FOR SUPERVISORS - BEHP1192 Covers behavioral skills training (BST). Outlines each step of the training protocol. Includes types of instructions, using in-person and video modeling, how to monitor performance during rehearsal and strategies for delivering effective feedback. Includes how to conduct BST with individuals and groups, and pyramidal structures to increase efficiency and reduce costs of training supervisees. Explores how technology can be used in the training process and what skills can potentially be taught using BST.
