Course Detail: PDP0391 - Pharmacy Technician

PHARMACY TECHNICIAN CERTIFICATION - PDP0391 Teaches medical terminology specific to the pharmacy technician (reading and interpreting prescriptions and defining drugs by generic and brand names). Teaches dosage calculations, IV flow rates, drug compounding, dose conversions, prescription dispensing, inventory control, and billing and reimbursement. Includes a graded final examination to help prepare for the PTCB examination.
