TEACHING SOCIAL SKILLS TO INDIVIDUALS DIAGNOSED WITH AUTISM - BEHP1075 Considers the differences between social verbal vs. social nonverbal behaviors. Presents common ways of teaching social skills to children diagnosed with autism along with identification of critical components for successful social skills groups.Reviews social stories and video modeling procedures. Defines descriptive autoclitics in Skinner's analysis of verbal behavior. Shares preliminary data and identifies teaching strategies for descriptive autoclitics.
