PUNISHMENT CONTINGENCIES IN FUNCTIONAL TREATMENT - BEHP1053 Explores the claim that an analysis of behavioral function would do away with punishment contingencies. Reviews behavioral function via a function-based classification system. Examines how the client's ecosystem can affect the ability to carry out extinction with behaviors that are socially mediated, as well as direct contingencies. Presents research of relevance to the understanding of punishment and its properties.
