TRANSLATIONAL RESEARCH: MATCHING THEORY & ITS APPLICATIONS - BEHP1040 Reviews translational findings related to the Matching Law (Hernstein 1961, 1970). Details species replication research and basic and generalized matching equations. Discusses experimental replications with socially relevant human behavior. Presents the behavioral model of self-control and treatment for individuals diagnosed with ADHD. Also presents a useful conceptual framework for designing function-based interventions for behavior disorders.
