VERBAL BEHAVIOR: FROM THEORY TO PRACTICE - BEHP1030 Reviews B.F. Skinner's classic (1957) "Verbal Behavior" in detail. Includes the verbal operants and more advanced topics of radical behaviorism. Presents the listener's role, private events, the autoclitic and self-editing. Also presents the behaviorally based VB-MAPP (2008) using language acquisition milestones of typically developing children. Teaches practitioners assessment and intervention procedures for children with autism and others with language delays.
