B.F. SKINNER'S ANALYSIS OF VERBAL BEHAVIOR, PART 1. - BEHP1024 Covers the first five chapters of Skinner's (1957) "Verbal Behavior." Compares Skinner's analysis of language with traditional treatments. Reviews the basic elements for verbal behavior research. Points out the similarity of basic principles between verbal and nonverbal behavior. Presents the elementary verbal operants with practice exercises on how to classify (name, tact, intraverbal) samples of verbal behavior.
