The 24-hours following a crisis can make or break your organization. This course offers you an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at the news media cycle, providing you with best practices for managing media relations post-safety failure. Leveraging the expertise of seasoned aircraft accident investigators, crisis communications professionals, and public information officers, you will engage in both theoretical and practical learning. Experience firsthand the aircraft accident forensics and media broadcasting labs at the Daytona Beach Campus, blending expert insights with hands-on training, including green room practice work, to equip you for effective media management in critical situations.

This course can be completed independently, or toward the Embry-Riddle Certificate of Management in Aircraft Accident Investigation

Continuing Education Units (CEUs)

Embry-Riddle will award 2.1 CEUs to each attendee who successfully completes the course. Each attendee will receive a Certificate of Completion for completing the course.

Cancellation Policy

A cancellation charge of $150 will be assessed on any standard cancellations. A late cancellation charge of 25% of the course registration fee will be assessed on cancellations occurring within 14 days of the start of the course.
