Overview

Once the domain of Governments, private companies are expected to take the lead in space operations by driving innovation through increased investment and strategic collaboration between commercial and government entities. While the future looks promising, significant risks remain. Several prominent firms have failed. This course aims to provide industry executives and policymakers with interdisciplinary background knowledge to guide their governments, enterprises, and their individual careers into the space economy. Now is the time to get smart about space.

The rapid commercialization of space is reimagining how humanity interacts with the final frontier. According to The Space Foundation, the global space economy reached revenues of US $570 billion in 2023, reflecting a 7.4% increase over the previous year - in line with a five-year CAGR of 7.3%, and nearly double the total from a decade ago. Future projections suggest that the global space economy may grow to as much as $2 trillion by 2040. This course will provide an inclusive and diverse learning environment and is open to aviation professionals and regulators from around the world. 2. Explore technical aspects of space systems - covering transportation, reusability, rocket engines, signal strength, and constellation design.

  • Canvas: An educational platform designed with the online teaching and learning experience in mind, is a cloud-based system that is viewable on any web browser, computer, or mobile device and allows for engagement and collaboration through video, audio, integrated media recorder, text, and discussion boards at whatever time you choose.

Registration and Course Fees:
Full payment is required at the time of registration to secure your seat in an ERAU Professional Education & Training course.

Changes to Your Enrollment:
We understand that plans can change! If you need to withdraw from a course, you'll receive a full refund (100%) as long as you notify us at least thirty (30) calendar days before the start of the course. Requests to withdraw made after this deadline are not eligible for any refund; however, a one-time transfer to the next session may be possible. Requests to withdraw should be sent by 
email.

Class Cancellations:
In the rare case that a course has low enrollment and needs to be canceled, we'll do our best to let you know as soon as possible. If this happens, you'll receive a full refund (100%) or can transfer to the next session or similar course.
