Biography: Ted is a FAA Certified Instructor with a Gold Seal endorsement. He has been involved with the ERAU Worldwide Office of Professional Education for well over 15 years. He actively teaches many of 23 courses under the Corporate Aviation Management program, which he developed or contributed subject matter expertise to. Ted also teaches the Instrument, Commercial and Private Pilot online ground schools. Captain Phipps retired as an international Captain flying B787 for American Airlines. Previously he flew and was involved in the development for a number of startup airlines. Early on, he flew corporate aircraft for a Philadelphia based business. His management experience includes acting as VP and Director of Operations for a Part 135 freight and charter operation. Ted was a certified mediator in Arizona and practiced mediation with the Trial Courts of Arizona. For pilots facing FAA Administrative Action, he assisted in retrieving evidence for their case. His representation included labor representation as an officer for the Airline Pilots Association. EDUCATION:
