Course Detail: ASA1 - ASA-201 Introduction to Machinery and Equipment (Aviation Specific)


The Introduction to Aircraft Appraisal course is ME201AS (Machinery and Equipment Aircraft Specialty), the first of four courses on aircraft specific appraisals required as part of the Accredited Member (AM) or Accredited Senior Appraiser (ASA) designation awarded by the American Society of Appraisers (ASA). The course will be taught by qualified David B. O'Maley College of Business faculty and industry professionals at the Embry-Riddle Daytona Beach campus. This course is designed to introduce participants to appropriate aircraft appraisal terminology, methods and concepts. The course also provides a foundation of principles of valuation and their applications to the appraisal of aircraft and aviation equipment. ME201AS will assist participants to broaden their skill set and enhance their career path and professional standing in aircraft appraisals, banking and finance and related fields.

The course is intended for aircraft brokers, aviation appraisers, and professionals in aviation banking, financing, and aircraft maintenance industries.
