Biography: Dr. John Kerbs is an Associate Professor at East Carolina University (ECU) and the Director of the Office of Healthy Aging Research, Education, and Services (OHARES), which is housed in ECU's Thomas Harriot College of Arts and Sciences. As a joint PhD in Social Work and Sociology (University of Michigan, Ann Arbor) and as a Certified Master Trainer in Stanford University's Chronic Disease Self-Management Program (CDSMP), he facilitates both CDSMP participant workshops and CDSMP Leader Trainings. He is also a Master Trainer for the Chronic Pain Self-Management Program (CPSMP).
