This module will not only answer this question but it will also introduce you and walk you through the following issues such as: - (a) Examining how the field of medical anthropology connects with the fields of medicine, public health, allied health, nursing and health education
- (b) Investigating historically our biological and cultural adaptation patterns to specific diseases
- (c) Discovering how our American health cultural perspective influences how we diagnose and treat major diseases in the United States
- (d) Reviewing how ethnic populations adapt to our American public health and medical systems
- (e) Understanding how other countries may view public health and medical issues differently.
Topics here include human biological variation I and human biological variation II.
