Symposium Description

East Carolina University is pleased to provide a venue for K-12, community college,and college/university educators to explore the teaching of writing across institutional boundaries and develop practical instructional resources.

 

The theme for this year's symposium-"Promoting Compassion, Advocacy, and Justice through Writing"-will allow participants to explore strategies for fostering student writers' awareness of and facility with purposeful writing. Speakers will include K-12, community college, and college/university educators. Time will be built in for small group discussion.
